At La Sarene Care, we believe care should feel personal, familiar, and deeply respectful. Our home like setting offers older adults a welcoming place to stay while receiving attentive support with daily routines, companionship, meals, safety, and personal well-being.
Families entrust us with more than a schedule of tasks – they entrust us with someone they love. That is why our approach is grounded in warmth, patience, clear communication, and respect for each person’s preferences, routines, culture, and independence. Inspired by the Filipino value of paggalang – deep respect for others, especially older adults – our care team strives to create genuine connection while maintaining professional standards. Day-to day support is based on each resident’s individual needs, preferences, care plan, and the services La Sarene Care is authorized and equipped to provide.
La Sarene Care is designed to feel less institutional and more like belonging: a smaller setting where each resident can be known as a person, not simply as a care assignment.
To provide older adults with a safe, nurturing, and dignified home away from home where personalized care, meaningful companionship, and respectful support help them live each day with comfort and purpose. We partner closely with families to understand established routines, preferences, abilities, and care needs. Our goal is to support each resident without unnecessarily taking over the parts of daily life they can and want to continue doing for themselves.
To grow La Sarene Care from an intimate, home-like setting into a trusted senior-care organization known for compassionate service, strong care standards, cultural warmth, and person-centered support. As La Sarene Care expands, our long-term vision includes a dedicated residential care facility designed around the same values that guide us today: dignity, safety, belonging, family partnership, and individualized attention.
Heat Safety: During warm weather, residents should have access to a comfortably cooled environment, regular opportunities for hydration consistent with their medical guidance, appropriate clothing, and observation for signs of heat-related illness. Individual fluid restrictions or medical conditions take priority over generic hydration advice.
Meaningful Cognitive & Social Activities: Activities should be enjoyable, age-respectful, and adapted
to each resident’s interests and abilities. Options may include music, reading, conversation, puzzles,
cards, crafts, gentle movement, gardening, reminiscence activities, and family participation.
Holiday Gatherings and Memory Changes: For residents living with memory changes, calmer
gatherings, familiar routines, reduced noise, simple activities, and a quiet place to rest can make
celebrations more comfortable. Families should focus on connection rather than testing memory or
expecting a person to perform socially.
We value open, respectful communication with residents and families. Questions, concerns,
preferences, and meaningful changes in care needs are reviewed thoughtfully, communicated
appropriately, and addressed in partnership with the resident and authorized representatives.
